- Monday, February 27
- Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
I know, you're asking yourself "What?!?" but don't worry, it's an exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Naked Hollywood: Weegee in Los Angeles features, the works of the NY-Crime-Scene turned LA-Tabloid photographer known as Weegee. The exhibit includes 200 never-before-seen photographs, as well as the artist's dabblings in film, writing and photo-essays, and is currently on at MOCA until February 27th, 2012. A veritable Hollywood icon, after moving to LA from NY in 1947, Weegee focused his lens, in true Hollywood style, on stars, strippers, costumes and mannequins.
