Runyon Canyon Park
We love that there are three different hikes to choose from, easy, medium, and hard just blocks away. It's nice to have the flexibility to select the intensity on any given day. The views of LA are stunning so if you’re feeling lazy, take it easy and just watch the city. Dogs are welcome. They will have plenty of friends to exchange sniffs with and it’s cool to see all of the different types and sizes of dogs that do the hike with their owners. There is a parking lot; but it can fill quickly (especially on weekends). Otherwise, you can park up and down the street, no big deal! Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen and water. There is a small snack and water stand at the base of the hill. It isn't tended by anyone, so be honest and put your dollar in. Oh yea, if you need to send a text, cell phone reception is not a problem.Runyon Canyon Park
